Below there is a description of «Houston» SW Interface.
Menu allows to switch on such windows:
List (tree) of devices descripts the organization of space vehicle, including all commands and return parameters. Every device name starts with its hexadecimal address. Return parameters starts with tilde. At Figure presented all commands and parameters for flywheel with 0xА address.
At Fields field there presented all fields for chosen parameter, for example: on chosing ~A-AD1 regular_velocity parameter there will be displayed fields float_val, temperature, invalid и counter.
Before sending the commands to devices via VHF you should chose VHF channel in device configurations.
For the flywheel, you should:
At history window there will be displayed heartbeat packets.
Now we can send the command to reaction wheel via VHF. Let’s set the reaction wheel’s rotation rate as 1500 rpm; to do so, send the command that changes its rotation rate A-A01 rpm.
Also at the plot will be displayed the points showing flywheel’s rotation rate. And in the history window will be displayed the received data.
