Creating and loading schedules (schedule)

The spacecraft has the ability to upload schedule for performing the specified actions in concrete periods of time (for example, for orientation and stabilization of the spacecraft at a certain point for taking a photo).

The sequence of actions for loading the schedule on board the spacecraft:

1. Turn on OrbiCraft 3D and connect the ground UHF via USB.

2. Launch Houston Server and Houston App

3. Open Houston App settings (File → Parameters)

4. In the 14th line of settings, set BoardAddrress to 0x2.

5. Using the 2-421A request_Time command, make sure that the onboard UHF is set to the current UTC time.

6. To view the onboard time, select the line with the answer 0x401 ~ tc_posix_time. You will see the onboard time in the Fields panel.

7. If the time on the onboard UHF differs significantly from the current time, it must be set by the command 2-4213 set_Time, by checking the “Set time when sending” checkbox.

8. In the Houston App create a Schedule with the selected commands.

Attention! The execution time of the first command must be specified, with the Calendar time checkbox checked (time is specified in UTC).

9. Save the schedule in .bin format by pressing the Save… button.

10. Launch the Houston Telnet Client and make sure that the “Server: connected” status is displayed in the status bar of the main window.

11. Open the Houston Telnet Client settings and set Telnet port → 60002:

12. Check the CR LF and Ymodem checkboxes and press the ls button to check the connection with UHF and the presence of downloaded files. The figure shows that there are 4 files in memory with the names 1.bin, 2.bin, 3.bin and 4.bin.

13. Press the Send File… button, select the schedule file with the .bin extension from the C: \ SX-Houston-app_v214.orbicraft.rc1 \ resources \ schedule folder

14. Wait for the file to download, the message “File send ends” will appear in the log

15. To make sure If the file is loaded successfully, you can press the ls button

16. In the Houston App, send the command 2-4230 tc_cmdshedule_load_from_file with the value “value” corresponding to the name of the file recorded on the UHF and wait for the ~ ACK response and execution of the commands from the schedule.
